Pashey 2017 Brut Rosé Sparkling (Willamette Valley)

A lovely light copper color, this new vintage retains the previous blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. White raspberry, white melon, crisp apple and a hint of jicama combine in this young, fresh wine. There's a suggestion of wet rock underscoring the finish, and the structure certainly suggests giving this another couple of years before drinking as it was just disgorged in the summer of 2020. Paul Gregutt
