Passing Time 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon (Red Mountain)

Cellar Selection

Klipsun (52%) and Red Mountain Vineyard (26%) fruit make up the backbone of this wine. Fresh and dried savory herb aromas are at the fore, followed by notes of pencil lead, spice, bay leaf, chocolate and black fruit. Rich, ripe, layered fruit flavors follow, backed by brawny tannins and a long finish. A highly structured wine, it needs some time to stretch its legs, but it has the stuffing to go the distance. Best after 2025, with a very long life beyond that. Sean P. Sullivan
