Patit Creek Cellars 2007 Roux Red (Columbia Valley (WA))

About half Cabernet, the rest a Bordeaux mix, this opens nicely with forward plum and cherry fruit. There are notes of savory herbs in the nose, but the wine turns astringent and the finish a little chalky and stemmy. Paul Gregutt
