Patland 2014 Proprietary Red (Napa Valley)

A hearty blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Syrah, given plenty of time in new French oak, this wine is a mix of crayon wax, red and black currant and firm, grasping tannin structure. Complex, it adds secondary characteristics of black cherry and lightly oaked spice as it opens in the glass, full bodied all along. Virginie Boone
