The color already shows hints of bricking, and this wine seems to be maturing quickly, and may be enjoyed immediately. There's a whiff of compost in the nose, muted cherry fruit, and an impression of sawdust. That said, it's forward, full bodied and quite delicious once it's breathed open a bit.
