Patricia Green Cellars 2018 Ridgecrest Vineyard Pinot Noir (Ribbon Ridge)

This new cuvée is sourced from the oldest vineyard on Ribbon Ridge, which dates to the early 1980s. Aromas of herb and earth with a hint of compost accompany a deeply extracted wine loaded with black cherry fruit. The firm, substantial tannins bring flavors of dark chocolate and espresso into play, all buttressed with ample acidity. A finishing note of cinnamon spice adds the final farewell. Paul Gregutt
