Paul Blanck 2016 Patergarten Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Ripe pear notes on the nose of this wine have something creamy and subtle about them. The palate continues in the same, mellow vein, imbuing the fruit with gentle but concentrated texture, creaminess and almost a hint of vanilla. Freshness counters and leaves a just off-cry, creamy and fruity finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
