Paul Jaboulet Aîné 1998 Domaine Raymond Roure Marsanne (Crozes-Hermitage)

This estate, with its small production from low-yielding old vines, is Jaboulet's latest pride. The white Crozes-Hermitage has great richness. There are aromas of honey from the ripe fruit, while the flavors mix exotic fruits and hints of mushrooms. Although it is rich, there is a firmer, more mineral streak, which adds to the complexity.
