Paul Jaboulet Aîné 2004 La Grand Pompée (Saint-Joseph)

Herbal at first, with hints of pepper and clove but not that much fruit. In the mouth, it shows decent roundness and texture, then turns tart on the finish. Try with herb-crusted lamb to help bring out the fruit. Joe Czerwinski
