Pebblestone 2016 Ellis Vineyards Block 7 Tempranillo (Rogue Valley)

This was aged for two years in French oak, and that is what dominates the palate. It's a bit raw and bitter, with lumberyard flavors. The fruit is light and hidden by the oak and a strong component of composted herbs. This is the most current released vintage. Paul Gregutt
