There are some beguiling notes of grilled meat, blackberry and spices on the nose, but in the mouth, this wine has a one-dimensional feel to it. The fruit and oak come together in a nice balance, and there's structure, too, but it's somewhat innocuous. Would pair well with dry sausage or cheeses.
