Pedroncelli 2003 Mother Clone Zinfandel (Dry Creek Valley)

Brings a classic, Bordeaux-like control and polish to Zinfandel's wild and woolly side. The flavors are briary and brambly, with wild berries, dusty spices, cherries and chili peppers, and the finish is dry and interesting. The spices suggest spicy foods.
