Peirano 2004 Heritage Collection Viognier (Lodi)

Inexpensive Viognier can be a disaster because the exotic wine is difficult to control, but Peirano has done a good job with this dry, crisp, balanced bottling. It's rich in mango, apricot, peach and vanilla flavors, and has a luxuriously creamy mouthfeel.
