Pelter 2013 Matar Stratus Shiraz (Galilee)

This wine has a bouquet of black currant, cassis and juniper berry. There is a very pleasant balance of fruit and cool herbal flavors, with an emphasis on black cherry, peach, anise and eucalyptus. The sense of coolness that persists on the palate is slightly overshadowed by a flash of brightness on the finish. Mike DeSimone
