Penascal 2008 Tempranillo-Shiraz Rosé (Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León)

Sweet-tart aromas are a bit pickled but hang in there. The palate has weight but decent acidity, and the grapefruit and pickled melon rind flavors are briney yet tasty. Better than acceptable but not much beyond that. Michael Schachner
