Penner-Ash 2015 Syrah (Oregon)

This is a wide open, fruity wine, with upfront berry and citrus notes backed by chalky acids. It's a good, quaffable red but lacks the complex meat and compost notes often found in Northwest Syrahs. Paul Gregutt
