This arresting wine slightly edged out two other single-vineyard offerings from this producer. Charming, snappy and also nicely concentrated, this medium-bodied wine offers a broad array of enticing aromas, vivid fruit flavors and great balance. It smells like red and black fruits with a touch of rhubarb, tastes fresh and fruity but also nuanced with tea and herb elements. It stays just on the lean side of the ripeness scale.
