Penville 2015 Grenache (Ballard Canyon)

Muddled mulberry, mossy funk and damp, stemmy earth aromas show on the nose of this bottling. There is a very taut texture to the sip, where red-plum and wild herb flavors are packaged in tannins that remain tight despite nearly five years of age. Matt Kettmann
