This Merlot-dominated blend includes 3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc. There's a lovely floral top note to the aromas, anise, some cocoa, and a pleasing dusty character. The fruit is still young and tart and tight, and the tannins carry flavors of leaf and olive.
