Pepper Bridge 2017 Trine Estate Vineyards Red (Walla Walla Valley (WA))

Cellar Selection

The 2017 Washington reds bring an abundance of acidity, as we see here. The aromas in this blend of Cabernet Franc (42%), Cabernet Sauvignon (32%), Malbec (14%), Merlot (9%) and Petit Verdot (3%) are expressive, with notes of raspberry, graphite, red cherry, chocolate and dried, savory herbs. The flavors are focused and fresh, backed by tart, vibrant acidity. It will have a long life ahead of it. Best after 2026. Sean P. Sullivan
