This is a beautifully mature wine, its sophistication belying the famous frivolous Belle Epoque flower bottle. It is toasty, rich and crisp, flavors of red fruits layering with light tannins and crisp acidity. Over the years, this has remained a consistently fine rosé, and this 1997 is no exception.
