The nose is fresh and attractive, although standard, while flavors of cherry, apple skins and mineral dominate. The finish features plenty of ripe fruit, chocolate and a smooth texture, and throughout there is a layer or two of added complexity that makes it more than your average red table wine. Still, it's all about being easy to drink and easy to like.
