Perry Creek 1999 Syrah (El Dorado)

Pretty tannic stuff. Dark, inky color, with dense aromas of plums, blackberries and chocolate. Good dark stone fruit and berry flavors, completely dry, and a little soft on acid, but those tough, gritty tannins call for cheese to bring out sweetness.
