Peter Lehmann 1989 Stonewell Shiraz (Barossa)

The American oak still clearly shows in this wine, which features vanilla and a touch of dill on the nose, but also blackberry and cherry fruit and a hint of milk chocolate. It's become creamy and soft with age, adding tobacco notes to vanilla and crisp berry flavors on the finish. Drink up. Joe Czerwinski
