Pfeffingen 2019 Ungstein Kalkstein Trocken Riesling (Pfalz)

Editors' Choice

Sourced from limestone-dominant soils in an intensely sunny site protected from harsh weather elements, this dry, full-bodied Riesling offers plumes of juicy, sun-drenched yellow peach, pineapple and tangerine flavors. It's a breathtakingly ripe yet freshly balanced wine with a long, salty finish that lingers. Delicious in youth but likely to hold nicely through 2026. Anna Lee C. Iijima
