Pfeffingen's Weilberg GG is a boldly fruity, almost tropical, dry Riesling accented by fiery strikes of spice and smoke. Sourced from clay-rich terra rossa soils, its peach and mango flavors are rich and ripe but freshly balanced by zesty lemon acidity and an ashen, earthen undertow. Approachable now but should improve through 2030 and hold much further. Anna Lee C. Iijima
