Pflüger 2016 Bunstandstein Trocken Pinot Noir (Pfalz)

Wild raspberry and blackberry aromas perfume this intensely primary red wine. Flavors of black cherry candy, licorice and spice are a touch confectionary compared with the producer's other excellent Pinot Noir, but it's an approachable, easy-drinking wine. Soft, barely there tannins accentuate its roundness. Anna Lee C. Iijima
