Philippe Sohler 2017 Heissenberg Riesling (Alsace)

Notes of lanolin and lemon play on the nose of this wine against a chalky background. Those same notions also dominate the slender but concentrated palate, giving a earthy dimension to the texture. The dry finish is a picture of earth and lemon purity. It's lovely now; drink by 2030. Anne Krebiehl MW
