Phillips Hill 2016 Valenti Vineyard Pinot Noir (Mendocino Ridge)

This wine from a tiny, mountainside vineyard is complex in aromas and flavors, medium bodied and well balanced. Black-cherry and rhubarb aromas are followed by moderately ripe cherry, bay leaf and rhubarb flavors and a lively structure of brisk acidity and firm tannins. Jim Gordon
