Phillips Hill 2017 Boontling Pinot Noir (Anderson Valley)

This wine is full bodied, ripe and inviting, showing warm plum, cherry and spice from the first whiff to the lingering finish. Luckily it stops short of overripeness and has a wrapping of light tannins and good acidity to freshen its texture. Jim Gordon
