Pronounced aromas waft immediately out of the glass with floral notes of lilacs and lily of the valley along with vivacious fresh fruits of lemon, lime, yellow apple, just-ripe white nectarine and peach skins. The palate opens to further sensations of grapefruit pith and oil, papaya and a blanched almond kind of nuttiness. While light and easy-going as a Sauvignon Blanc should be, this expression shows marked depth and complexity. Stacy Briscoe
