Rubbery and heady on first blush, with gaseous, leathery aromas that initially cloud the wine's fruit components. With time it evolves, showing dark cherry, raspberry and leathery flavors in front of an herbal, persistent finish. A little choppy and inconsistent but still a very good Malbec from a tough vintage.
