It begins with red berry aromas, violet, rose, white pepper and hints of orange peel. The bright palate delivers juicy red cherry, black raspberry, clove, cinnamon and sage alongside bracing but fine tannins and racy acidity. Classic but youthful, it needs time. Best after 2020.
