Pichler-Krutzler 2016 Ried Loibenberg Grüner Veltliner (Wachau)

Green pear and lemon zest characterize the nose of this concentrated, salty wine. Zesty citrus notes give both texture and direction on the taut palate, which shimmers with savory, yeasty, miso-like saltiness. A very delicious, impactful little package that is sure to unfold beautifully. Drink 2020–2030. Anne Krebiehl MW
