Piedra Hill 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon (Howell Mountain)

Following on the heels of the fine, ageable '03 comes this softer bottling. The tannins aren't as hard, although they're there, framing ripe blackberry and cassis flavors that finish with a swirl of dark unsweetened chocolate and cappuccino. This lovely young Cab drinks beautifully now and will hold for a good eight years.
