Pinkus Certified Organic Ur-Pils

This USDA-Certified Organic pils from the world's first organic brewery pours a slightly hazy, pale yellow-straw color with a thick white head that shows good retention. Pale-malt aromas are upfront on the nose, with secondary scents of earthy spice, hay and light citrus. Grainy flavors lead the palate, followed by notes of bready yeast and herbal hops. It's well carbonated, which balances out the slightly round texture, and finishes dry and clean, with a light bitter accent on the end. Lauren Buzzeo
