This young, tight tart wine is a fine example of pure Syrah, as if tasted fresh out of the fermenter. Tart black cherry, cassis, coffee liqueur, vanilla and a light streak of metal all combine to make this a full fascinating example. The odds are that another three to five years of bottle age will continue to improve this wine, but it's already quite flavorful and interesting.
