Plantagenet 2001 Estate Shiraz (Mount Barker)

Not as good as the winery's less expensive bottling. The plum fruit in this Shiraz tastes a little sour, and finishes pretty woody. Fruit on the nose is high toned, with interesting ginger, soil and plum accents.
