Plum Creek 2017 Riesling (Colorado)

The pleasant, citrusy aroma is subdued. The palate is off dry in style, layered with peach and honeydew melon, but the astringent acidity adds a bitter pith element that fights rather than harmonizes. It finishes with candied lemon peel and a touch of grapefruit. Fiona Adams
