Podere Ruggeri Corsini 1999 Barolo

Explosive aromatics are frankly a touch over the top, bursting with cherry, leather and touches of cedar, vanilla, coffee and maple syrup. It's very rich, big and bulky on the palate; gangly in its youth, it may settle down with some time in the bottle, but for now it's fruity and unformed. Try after 2009.
