This is kicking Barbera! It's smoky, with big and ready plum and blackberry aromas. A rich, fully oaked palate of plum and cherry fruit turns spicy and peppery on the finish, with hints of espresso. You even get some sweet marzipan in the middle of the tannins. Can age for another couple of years, but it's already sporting excellent body and feel.
