Poggio al Casone 1997 Chianti Superiore

There's superripe fruit and a soft, easy feel to this very jammy wine. Although not complex, the big black-cherry fruit delivers a lot of flavor and the supple texture is quite pleasurable. The finish is plush, with tart acids. Widely appealing for current consumption.
