Poggio di Sotto 2016 Brunello di Montalcino

This has a subdued nose that eventually reveals suggestions of eucalyptus, new leather and dried rose. The palate is on the lean side and also not very expressive, recalling unripe cherry, orange zest and ground clove alongside dusty, drying tannins and bright acidity. Tried two bottles, resulting in the same notes. Kerin O’Keefe
