Truffle, underbrush, toast and charred earth aromas emerge in the glass. The palate shows the heat of the vintage, offering prune, dried black cherry and roasted coffee bean alongside close-grained tannins that leave a rather raspy finish. Drink sooner rather than later before the remaining fruit dries out.
