Point of the Bluff 2018 Cabernet Franc (Finger Lakes)

Pepper, menthol and dried leaves are lifted on the nose, with cherry and raspberry coulis at the core. It shows a juicy raspberry sauce note on the palate, with more earthy, forest floor-driven tones. There's good depth and structure to this red, with a well-knit frame of tannins and integrated acidity lending ample lift. Alexander Peartree
