Point Ormond 2018 Sauvignon Blanc (Frankland River)

This is a light and delicate Sauvignon that could be mistaken for a contemporary Pinot Grigio. Pale, almost watery in color, quiet notes of melon, green apple, flowers and white spice are backed by a buttery, honeyed character. The acidity is tingly and crunchy, the texture chalky, and there's a spicy note sitting beside green apple flavors. Christina Pickard
