Pondera's Sericus blend is based upon Merlot (60%) with Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Cab Franc (10%) filling it out. It's consistent with its compadres in the lineup—a bit pruny, forward, hot and broad. These are all wines to drink up; it seems unlikely that age will favor them.
