Ponzi's Tavola Pinot Noir does a great job of filling in the value end of the winery's lineup. Luisa Ponzi consistently assembles a forward, spicy and appealing wine that drinks well upon release. The 2007 follows right on the heels of the excellent 2006, perhaps a bit lighter, but with tangy wild berry fruit and refreshing acids.
