This wine incorporates both fresh- and dried-fruit notes of cranberry, boysenberry, prune and raisin with complementary tones of black tea, potpourri, chocolate and toasted wood. It lacks a bit of acidity to give it a needed lift in the midpalate, but an overall quaffable sipper. Stacy Briscoe
