Preston 1996 Vineyard Select Mourvèdre (Dry Creek Valley)

A soft, light-bodied red from a Sonoma County Rhône specialist. Pretty aromas and polished flavors of berry, chocolate, leather and cinnamon. Might gain some complexity with aging but the fruit would just disappear. Good with salty, rich dishes like baked ham.
